Activity Detail Post
MRC CUP
The purpose of our annual Sports Day is to promote unity, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle among our community members, especially children and youth.
Each year, more than 1,000 children and young people participate in this exciting event. It is a day of celebration, friendship, and sportsmanship, where participants have the opportunity to showcase their talents, skills, and teamwork.
The event features a variety of sports competitions, including football (soccer), volleyball, and other recreational games. In addition to promoting physical fitness and community engagement, Sports Day also serves as a fundraising event.
The funds raised are used to support the Mara Refugee Committee (MRC)'s social welfare activities, office operational expenses, and other community programs throughout the year.
Through this annual event, MRC aims to strengthen community bonds while encouraging active participation, healthy living, and positive social interaction among refugees.
