Partnership with Touch 'n Go eWallet (TNG)
UNHCR and Touch 'n Go eWallet (TNG) have established a partnership, and the Mara Refugee Committee (MRC) is also collaborating closely with Touch 'n Go eWallet to support the refugee community.
As technology continues to develop rapidly, many purchases and essential services now require online payments. Therefore, having an individual Touch 'n Go eWallet account has become increasingly important, as it provides a convenient and secure way to make payments for daily necessities, including basic food purchases.
To promote digital financial inclusion, MRC worked closely with Touch 'n Go eWallet to organize an account registration event at the MRC office. During this event, more than 200 individuals successfully opened their own Touch 'n Go eWallet accounts.
MRC remains committed to strengthening its collaboration with Touch 'n Go eWallet and looks forward to building an even stronger partnership in the future to enhance convenience and digital accessibility for the refugee community.
